Jamie has been involved in community-focused social and health research for the past 20 years. He has worked as a volunteer, research administrator, consultant and researcher with multiple Universities, community-based organisations, as well as funders and service providers, on topics ranging from to research administration, community development, climate change, and harm reduction. Another significant aspect of his life is building, creating, and renovating spaces. He and his partner are currently remodeling a former Anglican church in Saint John, New Brunswick. The finished project will be a 2-unit residence, workshop, and business venue.
