The LEAPH Lab is the group of learners, researchers, practitioners, colleagues and collaborators who, together, enable LEAPH to grow. We are a diverse group, who live, learn, work and play across Turtle Island, and who have a history of learning and working together with Margot Parkes and a team at the University of Northern British Columbia. The LEAPH Lab are the amazing team whose energy and work support our LEAPH branches and other LEAPH members (Alumni members, Honorary members). We are committed to learning to prioritizing Indigenous Voices, championing equity and foregrounding an eco-social approach to health.
The LEAPH Lab is premised on learning from and with others, across people, species, cultures, disciplines and generations: connecting our past, present and future. The LEAPH Lab values the ecological and social relationships that shape our health and well-being and is committed to learning from the co-benefits that arise from combining an ecological perspective with championing equity for health. The LEAPH Lab recognises the value of more than one approach to knowledge. Pluralism and diversity matter, and require openness and commitment to learning from multiple knowledges and perspectives.
