Learning from Eco-social Approaches to Public Health
Jelena studies biology at the University of Northern British Columbia. She is interested in the intersection of conservation biology and human health, as well as health inequalities. Her interests lead her to join the LEAPH-Lab in early 2024.
What is your main role in relation to the LEAPH-Lab?
Currently, my primary role at the LEAPH-Lab is to maintain and update the website. However, I am flexible and you can find me doing various tasks across the branches.
What is something you are passionate about?
Travel! I have had the travel bug since I took my first international trip at eight years old. Since then, I have travelled to twenty countries and hope to visit them all someday. I love learning about different cultures, experiencing different ways of life, and exploring the various landscapes across our planet.
