On December 12th, members of the ECHO Network gathered before the Solstice to share insights from the ECHO Network and inspirations that are fueling the ECHO Collective. The third story in this Pulse was led by the SFU/First Nations Health Authority ECHO Regional Case Team, including insights from Dawn Hoogeveen, Cody Thomas, Maya Gislason, and Angel Kennedy. The group shared reflections about the development of a health impact assessment toolkit for First Nations communities with FNHA, the importance of centering the knowledge of communities, elevating Indigenous voices, building reciprocal relationships, and elevating youth voices. The group also shared about data equity issues that ECHO focused on, and about how ECHO elevated youth voices in all our coming together as a whole events.
